Cars for Community Returns: Lange & Fetter Motors Is Proud to Give Back Again
At Lange & Fetter Motors, being part of the Trenton and Quinte West community means more than selling cars and servicing vehicles. It means supporting the people, organizations, and programs that make our region a better place to call home.
That’s why we’re proud to once again participate in Cars for Community, an annual initiative supporting United Way Hastings & Prince Edward (HPE) and the vital work it does right here in our community. Lange & Fetter has a longstanding relationship with United Way HPE, supporting the organization through campaign launches and fundraising initiatives throughout the year.
And this year, every vehicle you purchase from Lange & Fetter during the campaign helps us give back.
What Is Cars for Community?
Cars for Community brings local automotive dealerships together with one goal: turning vehicle sales into meaningful support for people throughout Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
The 2026 campaign runs from September 1 through the end of November. Participating dealerships typically donate $15 or $25 for each vehicle sold during the campaign, with proceeds supporting United Way HPE’s annual campaign. Those dollars stay local, helping fund 39 agencies and 43 programs serving people throughout our region.
At Lange & Fetter, we’re taking our commitment even further by donating $50 from every vehicle we sell during Cars for Community.
That means when you find your next car, truck, or SUV with us this fall, you’re also helping support organizations making a difference close to home.
Small Contributions Add Up to a Big Impact
One vehicle sale at a time can make an incredible difference.
In 2025, Cars for Community raised an impressive $55,850 for United Way HPE—its biggest year yet. The success was made possible by participating local dealerships and their customers coming together to support their neighbours.
Those funds help United Way HPE support local social service programs addressing needs within Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. For us, that local impact is exactly what makes Cars for Community so meaningful.

Throughout the years, the #LangeFetterFamily has supported numerous community organizations, events, and initiatives. Current partnerships include the Car 4 Cancer Lottery, the Annual CFB 8 Wing Golf Tournament, Quinte Royals Baseball, Trenton Golden Hawks, Trenton Cruise Nights, and ongoing support for United Way Hastings & Prince Edward.
Our dealership also hosts an annual Ford Car Show Fundraiser supporting local charitable causes, with past events raising funds for organizations including Hospice Quinte and SickKids Foundation.
